I used to get a monthly update out, well, monthly. But things have slipped away from me! My plan is to get back into that routine. For now, here's a season update!
Have you ever wondered what exactly goes into grass-fed/grass-finished beef? And what those two terms even mean? Well, today, I'd like to answer your questions! While our farming methods are ever-changing, and some things mentioned here may differ a year from now, we remain consistent in that our beef and lamb are always Grass-fed and Grass-finished. So, let's start there!...
Finally, September's update! I know we're a couple of weeks into October, but I wanted to get this up before I had to write October too! This month was full of lots of people, visits, new experiences, and of course, the usual chores.
A long time ago chicken stock didn’t come out of a can just a couple of times of year for holiday stuffings. Families used to make it themselves using the bones of the whole chicken. Have you ever bought a cut of meat from us and noticed that it had a weird color spot? Like Purple or Blue? Well, wonder no more! Here's the probable answer to your mystery!
August is over....what?? Crazy to think that summer is almost over! Got to soak up all these summer memories. Hold on to them real tight to think back on when it's January and 8 degrees outside 😂 In all seriousness though, I am ready for the next season. Cooler weather, more baking, natures change in color and hopefully less wasps!
Ever wondered what a salve is? Or the difference between an essential oil and an herbal oil? Well, you've come to the right place!
Yes, I'm writing the July update in August 😂 This month has held some ups and downs for us. But, we continue to press on! Running a business can be hard. And if I've learned anything from watching Remi and the team, it's that it takes a team! It takes everyone's unique, God-given personalities working together in harmony, with goals in mind and all thriving in each one's roles.
