- (3 lb) Beef Arm Roast
- (1 Tablespoon) Olive Oil
- (1 Large) Onion
- (2 Tablespoons) Minced Garlic
- (to taste) Salt and Pepper
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Brown beef Shoulder Roast on all sides. Cook's Tip: You may substitute Chuck Roast with the Arm Roast
Place onion and garlic in 3-1/2 to 5 quart slow cooker; place roast on top. Cover and cook on HIGH 5 to 6 hours or LOW 9 to 10 hours or until roast is fork-tender.
Remove roast from slow cooker. Shred beef with 2 forks. Season with salt and pepper, as desired.
Drain drippings into bowls and use for Au Jus.
