Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order be delivered?

Your order will be delivered on a Tuesday. Orders placed after midnight on Sunday will not be delivered until the following week. You will receive an email notification with the confirmed date of delivery at least one day in advance. 

What if I am not home?

No problem! We always ask that you leave a cooler on your doorstep. This way the person delivering can leave your order even if you are not home, and there is nothing for you to worry about.

How should I expect my order to arrive?

Your order will be carefully packaged in a plastic bag or box. Even on a warm day, your order will stay fresh in a well insulated cooler. (And it is never a bad idea to include an ice pack or two!) Any freshly thawed items can be refrigerated or refroze for later use.

Can I recycle my packaging?

Absolutely! We can reuse any clean cardboard boxes and egg cartons. Just set them out with your cooler for the person dropping off your order.

Where is Home Delivery available?

Home Delivery is currently available in greater Kansas City, east to Concordia, and south to Warrensburg in Missouri. If you are outside of this area and would like to order, call us about shipping options.

What is the cost of delivery?

Home Delivery in Kansas City and surrounding areas incur a flat fee of $12, regardless of how large (or small) your order may be. Stretch your dollar by stocking up!

When will my card be charged?

Because we charge many items by the pound, we will not charge your card until we have pulled your order, but before it goes out for delivery.

Who will be delivering my order?

One of your friendly farmers (usually Remi or Dave) will be coming by with your order. If you manage to catch them, say hello!

Ordering Policies

Order totals are estimated

Since many items are priced by the pound, your final total may be a little more or less than your order's initial estimated total. Once finalized, your total will be charged to your credit card on file and your receipt will be emailed.

Payment is required before delivery

We accept all major credit/debit cards, as well as check for payment. At the time of placing your first order you will be prompted to add a credit card to your account. Once finalized, your order's total will be charged to your card on file and your receipt will be emailed.

If you would like to pay with a check, you can do so by leaving a check in your cooler for the exact total. Do not write the check until you have received an "Order Packed" notification with your finalized total.

Short stock items

Please understand that we are a small farm not a large warehouse. If an item becomes unavailable your final total as well as any applicable delivery fees will be reduced.
