How to Make Crock Pot Pulled Pork {Just add BBQ}

This might be the easiest way to make pulled pork. No, it's not smoked, but this method allows you to "set it and forget it." Most of the time we don't even use BBQ sauce, because the resulting pork is so moist and flavorful on it's own!
- Prep Time:
- Cook Time:
- Servings: 8-12
Ingredients
- (4-6 lbs) Boston Butt Roast (or Picnic Shoulder)
- Barbeque Sauce (Optional)
Directions
- Place the thawed roast on the bottom of your crock pot. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 8 hours, or until you can pull it apart with a fork (190* F internal temp if you like to use a thermometer.)
- Move the roast to a plate or large bowl. Remove the bone and any fat "globs" you don't want in your pulled pork. Then, using two forks, pull the pork to your liking.
- (Optional) Add barbeque sauce to the pork and toss well. Personally, we like to keep the sauce on the side so people can add it as they please.
Enjoy on a bun or, my favorite: in a taco! 😋
