Here's the sad truth for most poultry in the U.S.

Remi here, and today I'm exposing the sad truth about the majority of poultry and livestock in our country.

Did you know that 98% of pork and 99% of poultry in the U.S. comes from CAFOs?

CAFO stands for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation. (Doesn't that sound pleasant?)

This "factory farming" results in:

• Water & air pollution
• Unhealthy environments
• Antibiotic use (over 60% of "medically important" antibiotics in the U.S. are sold for food production!)

Unfortunately, CAFOs are now the standard for poultry and livestock production in the U.S. and most people don't even know.

Where does YOUR chicken come from?

At David's Pasture, we raise chickens in floorless coops that we move every day so our chickens always have bugs and forage.

Our chickens also get to enjoy actual sunlight! Our coops protect them from predators and crazy Missouri weather while still allowing them to enjoy the benefits of being outside and live a good chicken life.
